Paul, Roxy, and (I believe) several other people have offered
constructive suggestions to solve what seems to them --and to me-- a
problem that can be greatly alleviated, if not solved, by some simple
changed to the website. 

However, none of us, including me, have write access to the website, and
(unless something has changed while I've been too busy to keep up with
the list) those who volunteer to fix the website are shunted off to the
website list. I am sure good work is going on there developing a
longer-term solution, but it's not solving the immediate short-term
problem.
