Hi, :-)

I think the issue of difficulty of installing LibO on Linux is not
going to last long... I'm sure that as soon as a stable release of
LibO is out then Linux distribs are going to add it to their repos,
and their software installation tools (such as Ubuntu's Software
Center).

All the talk of the "difficulty" of owning/using a Linux system is
really a thing of the past... distribs such as Fedora Core and Ubuntu
have made this OS usable even for non-experts (and I only mention FC
and Ubuntu because their the ones I've used).

In any case, I'll draft that how-to over the next day or two and file a "bug"...

+1 for everyone mentioning the need for courtesy, friendliness,
understanding and open-mindedness when communicating on the lists -
especially when dealing with the end user support, but also as a
general principle of behavior within the project.
