I agree with this concept but more like this: The Document Foundation
would have more of a steering role in the community and the projects
underneath become more members of their respective projects. In this
case LibO. Pyramid style with the Foundation at the top.

Uhm...

The relationship between TDF membership and TDF multiple projects is another issue that has to be discussed *in the future*.

Example: I've contributed to LibO and gained TDF membership, can I vote and decide for a TDF Mail & Calendar subproject for which I've contributed nothing?
