The only really strange thing is what happens when I try the Supportex
mirror, as I said.

this one doesn't work for me at all at the moment (timeout). Can anyone
confirm?

Florian

Hi Florian,
I checked both 3.3.4 and 3.4.3 via the Supportex mirror, again.
http://mirrors.supportex.net/tdf/libreoffice/stable/3.3.4/win/x86/LibO_3.3.4_Win_x86_install_multi.exe
http://mirrors.supportex.net/tdf/libreoffice/stable/3.4.3/win/x86/LibO_3.4.3_Win_x86_install_multi.exe

With IE9 on Vista SP2 there was no timeout,
but (as before) in both cases it took over three minutes(!!) for the
Internet Explorer download manager popup to appear, offering to
Run/Save/Cancel the download. (While trying any other mirror the Internet
Explorer download manager appears instantly!)
