Another way would be to take the current footer and just add the word
"For" before " Unsubscribe Instructions" so it would read
"For Unsubscribe Instructions Email: Users+Help@global.libreoffice.org"

that's indeed a good idea that really might help to solve the issues...

What do others think?

Obviously this seems to be a simple but high effective change only a
native speeker can see, so I'd do this change, if nobody objects.

Bloating the footer which the other proposals require, rises confusion
more than providing useful information from my point of view .

Btw. The "unsubscribe" requests seem to have vanished since pointing to
http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ in
the footer, and as far as I see no new blacklisting requests have been
reported. Can we consider the "unsubscribe" issues solved? (don't
follow the users list so no clue about complaints there).
