I'll go and find out how creation of torrent files starts, and
where they will be saved.

If You can give a hint, where to study that would be nice.

So to get the torrent, simply download it from mirrorbrain (just
append .torrent to the URL)

That doesn't work out:
I created a directory pub/libreoffice/iso and put the iso file in
there. To avoid it beeing mirrored I told rsync to exclude it.

See here:

even after a night of waiting and adjusting ownership of the file 10
min ago (but that shouldn't matter as long as the file is readable
for mirror brain).

further investigation showed up: cronjob isn't covering the area I put
the iso in.

Succeeded hashing manually so now torrent download works.

first step done now.

Thanks for taking care :o)).
