AFAIK, it's something very near to a good transliteration of the modern
Roman dialect, though it's always hard to transliterate a vernacular
language that it's very similar to others in that zone. :)

However, I can be wrong because I'm not a Roman. ;-)

My friends in Rome, being well bred, always speak Italian with me, so my
knowledge of Roman dialect is limited to a few phrases like «Annamo !» But
I'm going to post the line to a friend in Rome to see what he has to say on
the matter - like a bad penny, I shall turn up again with a report !...
