Today one of the most important stopperts is problems with legacy documents
and exchange of documents with external parties.
First we must teach users that non-editable docs should be exchqnged as pdf.
But it will take time.
By supporting ms files er will encourage users to Use odf.
Please note that im not saying anythng about OOXML but only about the
document formats that actually exits out there: docx, xlsx, pptx etc.
I agree with anyone saying er should not support ooxml. Never.
OOXML = .docx, .xlsx and pptx.
The same "standard" that MS pushed through the ISO but still use closed
code/ features that are not part of the "standard".
