response, and didn't notice any responses to your post either!

Probably, because this might be a bit misplaced to ask. How can *we* do
anything to make Google Docs to be more compatible to OOo/LO. THis is
best asked in a Google development place, isn't it? :-)

Or did you mean the other way round?
