it seems that it's a misconfiguration on is ISP's side. If I check the host name mentioned, it only returns an error:

Host not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

     said: 550 5.7.1 <>: Recipient address
     Mail appears to be spam or forged and is rejected due to policy. Using
     cached results - retrying too fast. penalty: 30 seconds x 0 retries. (in
     reply to RCPT TO command)

That essentially means his mail triggered some spam alerts on our side - a non-existing mail server hostname is one possible reason.

Can he use another mail server for sending, maybe?
