Is the take over of Novell going to affect the document foundation?
And my question would be; do any of the 882 patents sold to the Microsoft
consortium affect the go-ooo code and therefore expose TDF to patent
actions?
How come you know what the IP assets are sold to MS consortium? This
wasn't mentioned anywhere and nobody really knows what these will be...
FYI - the 882 patent (whatever it is) has been mentioned in a number of
different places.
Including Groklaw - http://www.groklaw.net/article.php?story=20101122130625952.
But it's still speculation as to what else is in that part of the sale.
