Hi Ferry:
Due to a bug in our list server which won't be fixed for a month or two, people who, like yourself,
post via gmane do not have their messages accepted by our list manager. Instead these messages
come to one or more of our volunteer moderators for approval.
You can help us overcome this temporary problem if you would be willing to subscribe directly to
our lists, in this case the users list. Since you access us via gmane, you will not want to be
receiving a lot of messages - users has anything from about 100-300 messages a day at the moment -
so you can subscribe with the -nomail option, which means you are subscribed but receive no mails
from us. To do this, send an empty email from the same address that you access gmane from to
users+subscribe-nomail@global.libreoffice.org. You will get one email requesting confirmation (if
you don't see it within a minute or so, check your spam box) to which you should reply.
After this your posts via gmane should come through unchallenged, you will get no disturbing emails
from the list, and your posts wont be held up waiting for one of the moderators to come online.
Thanks if you decide to help us in this way.
