2012/3/15 NOPdat <nopdat@gmail.com>:
I currently have LibO 3.4.4 for Windows installed.
Now I click the downloaded file *LibO_3.5.1_Win_x86_install_multi.msi*.
The welcome window pops up, asks for username, I choose "/Install for
everyone using the computer/", "/Typical Install/", "/Put shortcut on
Desktop/", UAC asks me for permission (granted), installion process
continues for a while, then stops and a new popup windows tells me /"Please
exit LibreOffice 3.4 and the LibreOffice 3.4 Quickstarter/". When I click
"OK", the installation terminates.
But Taskmanager confirms, no LibO-related application or service running.
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/release-notes/ reads:
For Windows users that have LibreOffice prior to version 3.4.5
installed, either uninstall that beforehand, or upgrade to 3.4.5.
Otherwise, the upgrade to 3.5.1 may fail.
HTH,
Andras
