I currently have LibO 3.4.4 for Windows installed.
Now I click the downloaded file *LibO_3.5.1_Win_x86_install_multi.msi*.
The welcome window pops up, asks for username, I choose "/Install for
everyone using the computer/", "/Typical Install/", "/Put shortcut on
Desktop/", UAC asks me for permission (granted), installion process
continues for a while, then stops and a new popup windows tells me /"Please
exit LibreOffice 3.4 and the LibreOffice 3.4 Quickstarter/". When I click
"OK", the installation terminates.
But Taskmanager confirms, no LibO-related application or service running.
Even when I try to install after a Windows restart, the same happens. No
LibO-related programs or services are active, so says Taskmanager, and
MSconfig also sees no LibO stuff autostarted.
SystemSpecs:
Win7/64bit SP1 English version 6.1.760 (latest updates installed) single
user, 6 GB RAM, AMD II X2 250.
Security: MS Security Essentials and PC Tool's ThreatFire.
Browser: Firefox 11.0 (32bit), but was closed when I tried to install LibO
3.5.1 after restart of Windows.
