hey guys i think i have a solution to the high contrast issue with a dark desktop theme. how come we aren't using the app selection menu from OOo? it works just fine in regards to a dark colored background.
attached there are the images. one in white is the LO with a dark theme, and white app selection menu. if you high light over the text it will appear if not it vanishes into the menu due to the text being white.
the other image is the OOo app selection which works just fine in regards to a dark theme.
