LO is better.
Lots of us like LibO, and most ordinary users wouldn't know a system
library if it bit them; hence they would not make that name-association
in their minds.
As for "official" short name -- I think it's official if enough of us
adopt it as a short name. No one (or group) is dictator around here.
With any name, long or short, some people are going to like it, some
will hate it, and most probably won't care.
