As any name, LibreOffice is good for many and bad for many. The name
come out of a process where dozens of names have been examined, but the
problem with existing trademarks and registered names is just huge, and
there was not a single name with "office" inside that could be used. We
wanted to have "office" inside in order to stress the continuity with
OOo, because it is clear that TDF and LibO are the future of OOo.
