Those of you who use it frequently (and are not logged in 24/7 in
gmail :-)) will have noticed already:
the moderation helper can translate again since beginning of the year.

This time it is not using the translate api as before, but rather uses
google-translate-web-section-element.

Unfortunately I don't know of a clean way to trigger and clear the
status automatically, so you might have to toggle "Translate/Show
original" manually. (and

The benefit is that you now get the original text first, and not a
result that is a forced translated to English. The drawback is that it
can be a little laggy (i.e. takes a while for the translation to show
up after you clicked "Translate"), and the abovementioned problem of
manully having to clear it. But still faster that opening a new
browser window & copying the stuff to translate.google.com :-)

Feedback/Suggestion for improvement welcome as always.
