Yes. It turns out that the most efficient way for us to work is for me to
send my colleague PDFs of the layout, which she then prints out, marks, and
then returns to me by mail or as scans. Trying to work in LO and WORD has
proven totally impractical in our case. She has gotten interested in LO,
however,  and by and by I may help her learn styles. Thanks for your kind
help.
