to me

So we would do like the UN and the Olympics?

I am not against, but I would also suggest regional conferences.

Hi.

No problems. The community decides, but in the next year, only cities
nonEuropean send candidature.

Good week.

LibreOffice Conference may occur in continent different, for example:

2014: North American or Central American.
2015: Asian or Oceania
2016: South American
2017: Africa.
2018: Europe.

My suggestion would be to alternate between Europe/Non-European cities

So every even years, it would be non-Europe, and every odd years it would
be Europe.
Europe is where the large majority of the user base, so it makes sense.

Montreal is very much interested in being the host in 2014, and I hope
the call for locations will be soon :)
