Tony, download the 3.5 debs:

In a terminal cd to:
/LibO-Dev_3.5.0beta2_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US/DEBS and install:
$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb
Do the same for the help file:
$ sudo dpkg -i *.deb
