In other words, we need the graphics to be anchored as a character. I
know LibreOffice can do this, but it is not the default behavior, and to
fix it after inserting a picture involves a lot of work: The initial
paste is almost guaranteed to put the anchor in the wrong place, and
even after moving it, you typically have to go into the Picture dialog
box to fix Position attributes.
You can choose the way the picture is anchored, when you use the suiting
style from the drop-down-list in the insert dialog. You can define your
own style "GraphicAsCharacter" but "Formula" will do it as well.
I would not like to make "as character" the default, but I would like,
that the dialog remembers the last setting.
The real problem is, that anchoring to character while inserting is
broken in the actual versions. It inserts the graphic not at cursor
position but at the end of the document. So this must be fixed before
all other changes.
