I'm trying to install the GB English Language Pack on my Ubuntu 10.10
system.
Running the suggested scripts in a terminal gets the following response
"john@john-desktop:~/Desktop/LibO_3.4.0rc2_Linux_x86_langpack-deb_en-GB$
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
[sudo] password for john:
dpkg: error processing *.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
*.deb"
Any ideas?
John, I presume you've already downloaded and installed the
LibO_3.4.0_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz<http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/3.4.0/deb/x86/LibO_3.4.0_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US.tar.gz>
package.
If so, the problem is that you've cd:ed into the wrong folder ; try cd:ing
into «~/Desktop/LibO_3.4.0rc2_Linux_x86_langpack-deb_en-GB/DEBS» (without
the quotation marks), and then performing «sudo dpkg -i *.deb». That should
do the trick !...
