Hi people, I'm testing libreoffice for install it in the company where
I work replacing the office 2003 we are using today.
As premise we have to work with MSO format (or almost we have to do
with some documents) because we have to exchange the files with some
consultants and costumers.
Aside some small problems that are only annoying, we have found a
couple of bugs that are blocking for us:

the firs is with the datapilot component. When I change the selection
of a column, on some big spreadsheet, the first element of the list
don't works. If I reorder the elements it works, if I check "Identify
Categories" it works. But both workaround are lost when document is
saved. I've tested the problem both on Linux and Windows 32Bit and
opened a bug (
I've enclosed to the bug one of the spreadsheets that gives the
problem removing all the sensible datas.

The other one is even bigger: aside from a general slowness in opening
and saving big excell files (it tooks almost 15-20seconds to open a
file that MSO opens in 2-3 seconds on the same PC), I've found that
when in a big spreadsheet I fill some cells pulling the contents from
nearby cells, calc seems to freeze for minutes when try to save and
close it. I've found the bug again on Windows and Linux and opened a
bug on (I've also put a strace of the Linux try, but
sorry no file to try with. Too many cell to change): Again the problem
seems to be the dimension of the files: if I delete 5-6000 lines (one
of the files that have the problem is near 12.000 lines and 50 columns
with 3 sheets) it works again as expected, closing in 15-20 seconds.
Freedom is nothing else but a chance to be better.
