[tdf-discuss] CALC-Unintended DATE formatting

In both versions 3.3. and 3.3.1 in Calc when I enter
text e.g. I1 into an empty cell it is changed to 1.1.2001
and it is not possible to change it untill 'I1 entered.

I really do not like such an irritating behavior - if I wished to enter 
a date I simply write the date.
I checked out all the language and list checks but the behavior persists.

Any idea how to change it?
