Hey, thanks! Being an impatient person I installed alien (RPM>DEB converter)
and unlike some of my past experiences with alien, the conversion seems to
have succeeded. Converting the "freedesktop" RPM also gave me a full set of
menu entries in Ubuntu Studio 64bit 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat).
