I received the offer from a well-known German e-mail solutions provider, that they would take care of hosting the e-mail forwarders for us, including the development of a web interface so users can maintain their forwardings.

I don't want to disclose the name at the moment as I want their OK to do so, but in general, does anyone see issues with having someone external taking care of that?

It is solely about the members forwarders, not about the mailing lists or addresses, so I would like to take it, as it will take a great burden from us.
