I did that some days ago :)
this is the actual map in catalan:
The icon i propose means you can draw and write with openoffice and it mean
I propose to change the 2 birds for that L for libre. :)
And the pen can expres to prepare one document and to draw.

Yes. The problem is that ubuntu allows to use the icon but not as 100% free
icon. Same problem for the firefox icon. So i used other version i found i
the web 100% free.
As a teacher i want my pupils to understand what freedom means and i think
that using only free icons makes it a good idea. It's not just knowledge.

can i use this more unofficial icon?
I see as more colored, emotive and expresive this one:
It's better for teaching and its less "rude". Thats why i proposed to use t
one until a decision is made for the LibreOffice communication designs.
Something more related to "corporative image" or a general "ngo image".
I just had one new idea for the general:
